Job Description

An Exhibition Sales Executive is a dynamic and customer-focused professional responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships within the trade and exhibition arena. This role entails engaging with prospective clients to promote exhibition spaces and related services at trade shows, conventions, and other large-scale events. The Exhibition Sales Executive must possess excellent communication skills, a keen understanding of sales strategies, and the ability to quickly establish rapport with new customers. By collaborating with organizers and event planners, the executive ensures that exhibitions meet client expectations while achieving sales targets and contributing to the company's growth. The individual in this role should be adaptable, organized, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, continually liaising with various teams to ensure seamless execution of events.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients to maximize exhibition space sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Conduct successful negotiations with vendors and clients to close deals effectively.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials for exhibitions.
  • Attend industry networking events and exhibitions to represent the company brand.
  • Analyze current market trends to tailor sales strategies for maximum impact.
  • Prepare compelling sales presentations to pitch exhibition opportunities to clients.
  • Provide insights and feedback from clients to assist in improving event services.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a consistent basis.
  • Manage contracts and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with event organizers to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
  • Track client interactions and follow-up actions using a customer relationship management system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of sales experience in exhibitions or a similar industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets within a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and attend events outside regular business hours.
