Job Description

The Exhibition Operation Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution and management of exhibitions and events. This position is integral to the planning, coordination, and oversight of all operational aspects of exhibitions, from conception to completion. The role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver successful events. The Exhibition Operation Manager must have a deep understanding of event logistics, vendor management, and budget control. This position demands a proactive individual who can problem-solve, adapt to changing circumstances, and ensure all exhibitions are executed to the highest standards with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all operational aspects of exhibitions from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful outcomes.
  • Develop and manage exhibition budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and vendor management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations for events.
  • Lead and manage on-site teams to ensure smooth event operations and setup.
  • Liaise with marketing teams to support promotional activities and attendee engagement.
  • Analyze exhibition performance and implement improvements for future events.
  • Resolve any operational issues that arise during the planning or execution phases.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of processes, contracts, and outcomes for reference.
  • Foster relationships with clients to ensure needs and expectations are met satisfactorily.
  • Provide post-event analysis and feedback to stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in exhibition or event management roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams on-site.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and vendor interactions.
  • Proficiency with event management software and tools for operational efficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
