Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed test plans and test cases for new software.
• Collaborate with software developers to identify and fix software defects.
• Conduct manual and automated testing of applications to ensure functionality.
• Document and communicate test results and defects clearly to the development team.
• Monitor the debugging process and track quality assurance metrics thoroughly.
• Conduct performance and load testing to identify issues under stress conditions.
• Work closely with product managers to understand new product requirements and ensure they are met.
• Prepare and maintain documentation of tests, procedures, and requirements.
• Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes.
• Ensure final product meets customer requirements and is free of issues before release.
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential issues.
• Implement security testing to ensure software solutions are compliant with data protection standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software development.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes for software projects.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages like Python or Java.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to collaborate effectively.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
