Manage engineering software applications and provide comprehensive technical support to engineering employees.
Oversee software installations, upgrades, patches, and configurations across various operating systems.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical engineering data and software configurations.
Ensure the security and integrity of engineering systems by implementing best practices and collaborating with IT security teams.
Lead the creation of assets in Maximo and confirm purchase orders in collaboration with workshop supervisors.
Oversee all monthly billing activities for Engineering workshops related to third parties, working closely with planning supervisors and the centralized billing team.
Review all labor rates to ensure appropriate chargebacks and reconcile data with supervisor support to capture all costs accurately.
Organize and ensure the accuracy of monthly data for the Spider system, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards that visualize key engineering metrics, project progress, software usage, and system health.
Utilize tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, or custom web-based solutions for dashboard creation.
Control all aspects of relevant database communication and work distribution, including load tests, registrations, and job plans.
Lead collaboration efforts between IT, the Planning team, and Engineering section SMEs to ensure system workflows are optimized and regularly updated to meet departmental needs.
Review details related to all monthly Preventive Maintenance tasks and follow up with planning supervisors on any pending or overdue items.
Conduct training sessions for end-users on system usage and ensure all team members are trained to provide ongoing support.
Provide support to Quality team members, ensuring all relevant documents and details are presentable for internal or external audits and quality certifications.
Work closely with engineering teams, the IT department, and software vendors to ensure seamless integration and support.
Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Participate in project planning and contribute to the strategic direction of engineering systems.
