Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes to maintain safety standards.
• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs.
• Perform general electrical maintenance and troubleshooting to diagnose and solve issues.
• Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, and temperature control devices.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to complete projects efficiently.
• Estimate and manage the cost of installation projects within set budgets.
• Prepare and maintain reports, records, and documentation related to electrical work done.
• Identify and replace faulty electrical wiring and components efficiently and safely.
• Stay updated with current practices, trends, and technologies in the electrical field.
• Implement energy-saving solutions and promote sustainable electrical practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training is preferred.
• Valid electrician license or certification based on regional requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Electrician in varied settings.
• Proficient in reading and understanding technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to safety and detail in work.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform physically demanding tasks.
