Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or technical diagrams to understand layout and specifications.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications.
• Advise management on continued use of unsuitable equipment and appliances.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals on complex electrical project implementations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for electrician roles.
• Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or vocational training program.
• Valid electrician license or certification as per state or local regulations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical diagnostic equipment.
