An Ecommerce Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the online sales and marketing efforts of a business. This skilled professional is responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of an ecommerce platform, ensuring that the online presence is competitive, engaging, and optimized for sales. This includes handling everything from product listings, pricing strategies, and digital marketing coordination, to data analysis and UX improvements. The Ecommerce Specialist collaborates with various teams, including marketing, IT, and logistics, to enhance the customer shopping experience. With the digital landscape constantly evolving, staying ahead of market trends and implementing innovative ecommerce solutions is key to their success. This role is integral to fostering customer loyalty and boosting market share by ensuring seamless online purchasing processes.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present performance reports and insights to senior management regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing ecommerce platforms and online sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with teams.
