Job Description

The role of an E-commerce Operations Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring seamless online customer experiences and efficient management of e-commerce processes. As an integral part of the e-commerce team, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of online sales platforms. This includes managing product listings, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with logistics partners, and overseeing order fulfillment processes. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving any operational issues efficiently, ensuring that customers receive their orders promptly and accurately. Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where quick decision-making and multitasking are daily necessities. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, customer service, and IT, you will drive improvements and initiatives that enhance the overall online shopping experience. Your innate problem-solving skills will help ensure the optimization of e-commerce operations, driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of e-commerce platforms to maintain smooth functionality.
  • Manage and update online product catalogs, including product descriptions and images.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to avoid stockouts.
  • Work with logistics partners to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Identify and address operational issues, ensuring quick resolution for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with customer service to handle inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
  • Analyze online sales data to identify trends and areas for operational enhancements.
  • Coordinate promotional activities with the marketing team to boost online visibility.
  • Implement and maintain e-commerce processes and procedures for operational efficiency.
  • Track and report performance metrics to management, suggesting actionable improvements.
  • Ensure website functions efficiently across various digital platforms and devices.
  • Liaise with IT to troubleshoot technical issues affecting e-commerce operations.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, e-commerce, marketing, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in e-commerce or retail operations.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management and supply chain coordination is essential.
