Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods or passengers from one location to another. As a Driver, you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to all road safety regulations to ensure a safe journey. This position requires a flexible individual who can manage time effectively and adapt to varying schedules. Our Drivers play a pivotal role in our operations, ensuring timely deliveries, client satisfaction, and fostering positive relationships with customers through excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients or goods safely to designated destinations following the planned route.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of departure and arrival.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure their safe and optimal operating condition.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations promptly to management.
• Provide excellent customer service through professional and polite interaction with clients.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly and handled with care.
• Manage navigation via GPS or maps to chart the best possible routes to destinations.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as refueling, washing, and minor repairs.
• Keep the vehicle interior clean and presentable for passengers at all times.
• Assist with unexpected reroutes and schedule changes due to traffic or weather conditions.
• Help disabled passengers or those with special needs in and out of the vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a driver with a history of safe driving.
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods to navigate effectively and efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred though not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills for positive interactions with clients.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy goods when required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends if needed.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair to handle emergencies.
