Deli Specialist

Spinneys, the UAE’s leading premium food retailer, looking for a passionate and experienced Deli Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidates will be involved with Operations Specialists Team. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring the daily operations of the production department, coffee shop and stores as may deem necessary.
• Delegating tasks to staff, supervising the food preparations, orders and services.
• Maintaining adequate stock inventory and finding ways to minimize production costs without compromising quality service.
• Strategize on techniques in maximizing the productivity of the operations staff to boost revenues and increase the business profitability. Attend to the production and operation needs, respond to their inquiries, and resolve complaints immediately.
• Analyze current food trends, to update and suggests menu and meet the market trends.
• To enable to train staff as to new menus, process of product development.
• To ensure production and operations safety and hygiene compliance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts, F&B or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a large / medium sized organization. Experience in Retail would be an added advantage.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
• Good knowledge on Safety & Hygiene standard procedure as per UAE Health & Safety authority.
• Good product knowledge.
• Expertise in operating cooking machines and equipment.
• Proven experience in handling busy food preparation and production area.
