Responsibilities
Design and implement an engaging curriculum tailored to preschool children's developmental needs.
Maintain a safe and healthy environment conducive for effective child learning and development.
Facilitate social and emotional development through group activities and structured play.
Assess and document each child's progress, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with parents to ensure consistent communication about their child's developments.
Supervise and manage children in both classroom settings and playground areas ensuring safety.
Integrate creative educational activities that stimulate cognitive and physical growth among children.
Respond effectively to emergencies, following daycare safety protocols and first aid guidelines.
Maintain a well-organized, clutter-free classroom that promotes positive behavior in children.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to continuous professional development.
Adhere to state regulations and daycare policy standards maintaining compliance at all times.
Mentor student teachers or classroom assistants, providing guidance and support when needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in a preschool or daycare setting required.
Certifications in CPR and First Aid are mandatory for immediate employment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
A passion for early childhood education and genuine care for young children.
Knowledge of childhood development theory and its practical application.
