The Manager of School Operations is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and improving the operational systems within a school setting. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient and effective management of all administrative and support functions required for a school's successful day-to-day operations. The Manager serves as a bridge between the educational staff and the administrative infrastructure, fostering a supportive environment where educational goals can be prioritized. From managing budgets and resources to coordinating events and enhancing staff efficiencies, the Manager of School Operations plays a vital role in shaping a conducive learning environment. Collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and external partners, the Manager drives operational excellence, aligning logistics and operational resources with the school's mission and strategic objectives. The role requires a dynamic individual capable of multitasking, problem-solving, and leading teams to deliver optimal operational support to facilitate an enriching educational experience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic operational plans for school efficiency improvements.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring seamless operational flow.
  • Manage and allocate resources, including human and financial, effectively.
  • Establish and maintain policies that comply with educational standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Liaise with educational staff to ensure operations support educational initiatives.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify areas for operational enhancements.
  • Implement and oversee health and safety protocols within the school premises.
  • Lead emergency preparedness and emergency response plans development.
  • Organize and manage school events, ensuring all logistics are handled appropriately.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment to drive operational effectiveness and morale.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the operational support team at the school.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of three years experience in school administration or operations management.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis and adept in using management software tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on staff development and teamwork.
