Job Description

A Commercial Leasing Consultant plays a pivotal role in facilitating and managing the leasing of commercial properties. They act as intermediaries between landlords and potential tenants, ensuring that both parties achieve their objectives in a professional manner. This position is integral for businesses looking to establish, expand, or relocate their operations, and requires deep market knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to negotiate leasing terms. The role not only involves showing properties to prospective tenants but also advising them on suitable lease agreements based on their unique needs. Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential business clients and leasing opportunities.
  • Negotiate leasing terms and conditions in collaboration with property owners and clients.
  • Prepare detailed reports and document transactions for all leasing activities.
  • Advise clients on market conditions, prices, legal requirements, and related matters.
  • Create and execute marketing plans to advertise available commercial properties.
  • Coordinate property visits and showings for potential tenants while highlighting key features.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to encourage business retention and referrals.
  • Assist in preparing lease agreements and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
  • Monitor tenancy and maintain strong communication lines with existing tenants.
  • Collaborate with property management to maintain properties' appeal and functionality.
  • Utilize a customer relationship management system to track prospects and sales activities.
  • Participate in networking opportunities to increase business contacts and prospective tenant outreach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in commercial real estate leasing or sales.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to facilitate successful lease transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate markets and local property laws.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other lease management tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse portfolio of clients and properties.
