Civil Reclamation Specialist

A Civil Reclamation Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing land reclamation projects, often involving the restoration of disturbed land due to construction, mining, or environmental degradation. This role combines environmental engineering with civil infrastructure knowledge to ensure projects meet ecological, regulatory, and structural standards. Specialists often work with government agencies, engineering firms, or contractors to return land to a stable, usable state.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of land conditions and analyze reclamation potential.

• Develop reclamation strategies and project plans based on environmental data.

• Coordinate with engineers, ecologists, and regulatory bodies.

• Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

• Oversee the implementation of reclamation works, including grading, seeding, erosion control, and water management.

• Monitor post-reclamation outcomes and adjust plans as needed.

• Manage budgets, timelines, and project resources effectively.

• Ensure all work adheres to safety and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
