Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
  • Ensure safety standards and technical guidelines are adhered to on every project.
  • Conduct studies to determine the feasibility, design, and construction processes of new projects.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects accurately.
  • Assess environmental impact and possible risks before project execution begins.
  • Use advanced design software and technology for creating precise project plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers to assess the cost estimate for the projects.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to align project objectives and desired outcomes.
  • Supervise team members including technicians, technologists, and other engineers.
  • Ensure all projects comply with governmental regulations and environmental specifications.
  • Maintain project documentation and present regular updates to stakeholders and clients.
  • Resolve design or construction conflicts by providing efficient solutions promptly.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale civil engineering projects effectively.
  • Familiarity with CAD and other engineering design software is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure efficiently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe.
