Job Description

The Business Relationship Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business units and technology services, ensuring that the IT strategy aligns with the company's business goals. This position involves collaborating with various departments to help identify and implement strategic technology solutions that deliver maximum benefit to the organization. The Business Relationship Manager must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders. They are also responsible for comprehending the business needs and translating them into technical specifications for IT teams. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization.
  • Align IT services with current and future business requirements and goals efficiently.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between business units and IT to drive growth.
  • Oversee the identification and resolution of any IT-related business issues promptly.
  • Translate business needs into IT requirements and deliverables clearly and effectively.
  • Engage in strategic planning to ensure the business is prepared for future technology demands.
  • Monitor and report on IT service delivery, ensuring alignment with agreed service levels.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance IT services through innovative technology solutions.
  • Ensure risk management issues are comprehensively addressed in technology solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to improve IT processes, tools, and services offered to the business.
  • Proactively educate business units on technological capabilities and advancements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Business Relationship Management function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Relationship Manager or similar customer-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of IT and business strategies and objectives alignment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution among cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach to finding solutions.
