We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team, focused on driving growth within the advertising sector. As a Business Development Manager (Advertiser), you will be primarily responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and increasing revenue through strategic partnerships. You should possess a deep understanding of the advertising industry and leverage this knowledge to expand our client base. The ideal candidate should have a knack for understanding client needs, providing innovative solutions, and delivering exceptional service. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop and implement effective growth strategies. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with advertising clients and partners.
  • Create and implement strategic plans to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align on growth strategies.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor performance to inform business strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profits.
  • Assess client needs and tailor advertising solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market conditions.
  • Ensure clients receive exceptional service and support to maintain satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with product teams to customize offerings based on client feedback.
  • Lead and mentor junior sales associates to support team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in business development, preferably in advertising.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPI metrics.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends within the advertising sector.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills required for client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite highly desirable.
