Responsibilities

BIM Project Manager

Monitor and validate BIM progress and quality

  • Produce project specific BIM Execution Plan in accordance with customer requirements and relevance standards.
  • Ensure development and compliance with the approved BIM project Execution Plan
  • Ensuring all quality of all BIM related document with proper review
  • Revising and submitting BEP/PXP when there is any outdated information
  • Keeping the model development ahead of all construction works at all times in such a way as to prevent abortive works
  • Responsible for the development, coordination, publication, and verification that all necessary configurations required for seamless integration of design and construction model information have been implemented
  • Assure that the design deliverables specified in the contract are provided in accordance with the formats specified
  • Coordinate BIM file exchange and archiving of milestone submittals
  • Assure information is provided at milestone submittals and for the contractor
  • Assures proper BIM derived 2D information for paper printing as required and conforms to the CAD standards
  • Coordinate with the builder to assure the creation of proper BIM final deliverables
  • Assume responsibility for the proper classification of all spaces and equipment in the model to ensure direction comparison with the MFD
  • Coach and mentor project teams in relation to the BIM knowledge
  • Produce relevant documents, such as EIR, MIDP at project level as part of subcontractor request for proposal and ensure that selected subcontractor deliver in accordance to the BIM standards and requirements.
  • Proficiency in BIM Software Strong skills in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools.
  • ISO and BIM certifications preferred

Organizing and guiding the projects in the BIM process

  • Facilitate use of composite design models in design coordination/clash detection meetings and provides detection reports by the identification and resolution of all hard and soft collisions
  • Ensure that models are used appropriately to test design requirements/criteria for functionality
  • Facilitate BIM technical meetings with lead BIM Technicians
  • Customer facing for (sales) topics where BIM project coordinator cannot decide (level of escalation)
  • Identify significant issues and important geometric clashes during project lifecycle (staying on top of things).
  • Creates an overview of contractual system requirements to compare and add to BEP

Your profile

  • Graduate in relevant engineering field and possess BIM software certifications (Mechanical - Production - Architect - Mechatronics).
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working as a BIM Manager for Lead Appointed Party or Appointed Party.
