Job Description

An Assistant Commercial Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the commercial team within an organization. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the management of business operations, optimizing commercial opportunities, and ensuring the alignment of business strategies across various functions. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure effective implementation of commercial initiatives.

  • Assist in negotiating contracts with clients and vendors to achieve favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies consistently.
  • Monitor and report on commercial activities and competitor strategies within the market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders from various industries.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders' evaluation and review.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the commercial department and implement them.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to enhance brand presence and drive commercial success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a commercial or business development role for at least three years.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market dynamics and trends.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex statistical data.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills for effective relationship management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software applications.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and the ability to ensure compliance effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
