Requirement

• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience
• At least one of these certifications is mandatory - ASNT - Level 2 or PCN Level 2 or ISO Level 2
• Must have experience in at least 2 of these methods - EDDY Current (ECT) testing, Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS), Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) testing
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 5 Years post qualification work experience as a SNT-TC-1A/ASNT Level 2 or PCN Level 2 or ISO Level 2 approved equivalent
• Experience in EDDY Current (ECT) testing, Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS), Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) testing
  
  

Academic Qualifications

• Undergraduate
• SNT-TC-1A/ASNT Level 2 or approved equivalent
  
  

Job Objective

To support the operation department with designated NDT scope of work

To maintain health and safety standard within the SSI HSEQ department

Key Responsibilities/Duties

Carry out IRIS, RFT, ECT, PAUT, MFL tube inspections

Carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) if qualified

Carry out Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) if qualified

Carry out Radiographic Testing (RT) if qualified

Carry out Ultrasonic Testing (UT) if qualified

Interpret Industrial codes, standards, and specifications

Review inspection results to determine if acceptable

Interpret IRIS, RFT, ECT, PAUT, MFL and determine if acceptable

Carry out visual inspections

Follow approved test methods, techniques, procedures and work instructions

Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports

Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after the completion

Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate work place and surrounding premises

Maintain organizations stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements

Specialized Knowledge

Experience in NDT equipment’s and familiar with manual, computerized reporting

Ability & Skills

Good communication skills written and verbal – Mandatory requirement
