Job Description

An Accounts Assistant (Arabic Speaking) plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of a company where Arabic language proficiency is necessary. This position requires a detail-oriented individual capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. The Accounts Assistant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with various accounting activities. The ability to communicate fluently in Arabic is essential to effectively collaborate with Arabic-speaking clients and internal stakeholders. As an integral part of the finance team, the role demands an understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth financial functioning of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing.
  • Coordinate with Arabic-speaking clients and stakeholders for financial queries.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes with precision.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to assist financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
  • Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Maintain and update accounting software with current financial data.
  • Collaborate with finance team to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries in both Arabic and English.
  • Prepare financial statements and documentation for management review.
  • Perform other related financial tasks as required by finance managers.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an accounting or finance assistant role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
