Job Description

As an Accountants Manager, you will oversee a team of accounting professionals, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations within the organization. You will play a crucial role in strategizing, planning, and implementing financial policies and procedures. With your extensive experience and leadership skills, you will guide and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional development. Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department effectively.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and close processes are adhered to.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports to identify financial discrepancies.
  • Evaluate and improve internal processes to enhance efficiency across departments.
  • Hire, train, and develop accounting staff to optimize department performance.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and statements.
  • Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to successfully complete year-end audits.
  • Advise on financial analyses and decision-making regarding organizational policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Proven experience in managing an accounting team for a minimum of five years.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial analysis tools is essential.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills are crucial for this role.
  • Strong attention to detail with superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
