As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing financial accounts to ensure compliance with established policies and principles. Your expertise will greatly aid in precision and clarity during financial transactions, reports, and audits. In this role, your analytical skills will be utilized to interpret financial data, monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement in financial practices. Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage general ledger accounting functions and ensure system integrity.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Maintain accurate financial records and document financial transactions appropriately.
• Monitor and report on financial risk management processes and mitigations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for different business units.
• Handle fixed asset accounting, including depreciation calculations and reporting.
• Provide continuous improvement recommendations for accounting processes and systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of three years' experience in accounting or financial management roles.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory standards compliance.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with numbers.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with various departments effectively.
