 Group IT Manager

This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure systems are available, and performing effectively. This includes the administration and support of LAN/WAN networks, servers, internet services, and related technologies that enable smooth business operations.

The role requires strong technical and troubleshooting expertise to maintain business continuity, enforce IT standards, and provide reliable support across the organization. S/he also works closely with internal users to address issues, coordinate with vendors where necessary, and implement improvements guided by the Group IT function.

• Manage ICT assets assigned by senior management, demonstrating a flexible and innovative approach to supporting the organization’s Information Technology Systems.
• Manage current systems, servers, networks, and full support operations for the office.
• Oversee additional IT operations such as CCTV systems and other related technologies operated within the office.
• Support enterprise applications and platforms such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics GP and other applications in the landscape from infrastructure perspective.
• Apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve IT services.
• Identify system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure the security of IT systems, communication lines, and equipment.
• Ensure the smooth running of all ICT systems, including antivirus software, print services, and email provision.

• Provide secure access to the network for remote users, manage VPN users.
• Coordinate and make effective use of Help Desk and Desktop Support resources to ensure timely resolution of user issues in line with defined service levels.
• Offer users appropriate technical support and advice.
• Manage crisis situations, including complex technical hardware or software issues.
• Undertake similar or related work as required by ICT Management.
• Experience or Exposure to SAP environment is considered as an advantage.

A working environment of a pleasant air-conditioned office is provided.  

And required to attend the different Taurus Arm BUs according to work requirement.

Engineering Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering.

Certification in ITIL, CISCO, Microsoft & other leading IT technology vendors.

A total of 8 years in IT and minimum 4-5 years in an IT environment in similar position.
