We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our Dubai team. This role combines general HR responsibilities with a strong focus on recruitment, particularly for architectural roles. The ideal candidate will play a key role in attracting top talent and supporting the overall HR operations of the office.

Key Responsibilities

HR Support and Advice

  • Provide guidance to project managers on employee-related matters.
  • Manage absence, leave requests, and employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Handle employee complaints and resolve issues in line with company policies.
  • Support the implementation of global HR projects, including learning and development, compensation, and benefits.
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate training and development programs based on identified needs.
  • Execute exit procedures to ensure a smooth offboarding process.

HR Administration

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries.
  • Manage HR documentation, personnel files, and compliance with UAE labor laws.
  • Oversee payroll administration, including monthly updates.
  • Support visa applications, work permits, and employment contracts.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
  • Act as the primary user and administrator of HR tools and systems.

Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for roles up to mid-level position, with a focus on architectural positions (up to level PL4).
  • Collaborate with team leads or leadership to define hiring needs and create job descriptions.
  • Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Conduct pre-screening to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Plan and coordinate interviews, including scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new hires to ensure a smooth integration.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Represent UNS at career fairs and recruitment events to promote our employer brand.

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on recruitment (experience in architectural or design roles is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in pre-screening and coordinating interviews for technical roles is highly desirable.
