Job Summary/Overview

We’re seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to bridge client needs with engineering excellence. This role will engage clients from FMCG segments for industrial refrigeration requirements, crafting tailored technical proposals and driving project conversion from lead generation to delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Source, engage and build relationships with new clients from FMCG segment
  • Develop technically accurate and competitive proposals including basic design, BOQs, scope of work, drawings, presentation and compliance documentation
  • Work closely with internal operations team to align deliverables with client expectations
  • Negotiate terms, manage client queries, and ensure smooth handover to operations team
  • Maintain CRM records, track sales pipeline, and report on leads, proposals, and conversions


Skills Required

  • Strong technical acumen in industrial refrigeration design & installation including piping and electrical works
  • Proficiency in proposal development, basic design, BOQ preparation, technical drawing and documentation
  • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • CRM competence and ability to generate sales effectively with problem solving & solution based selling
  • Familiarity with electromechanical contracting and industrial client environments


Expectations

  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly leads, proposal win-rate, and revenue targets
  • Demonstrate technical competence and customer-centric solution selling
  • Ensure clear communication and seamless transition from sales to execution
  • Foster repeat business and enhance client satisfaction


Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering—or equivalent relevant field
  • Minimum 3–5 years in technical sales related to industrial refrigeration in FMCG/Industrial sectors
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, Malayalam. Arabic is a plus
  • A valid UAE driving license
  • Proven track record in lead generation & converting technical proposals into successful projects with repeat rate
  • Experience in engaging with clients and managing multidisciplinary project handovers
