Job Description

The position of a Technical Quality Controller is pivotal in ensuring that the highest standards of product specifications, performance, and safety are consistently being met. You will be at the forefront of implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes that guarantee products align with both internal and external quality benchmarks. The role involves analyzing data, troubleshooting defects, and coordinating with production teams to enhance product reliability and efficiency. Your expertise will facilitate the creation and maintenance of a culture of continuous improvement, driving the company's commitment to excellence. You'll liaise with various departments including production, engineering, and customer service to ensure quality objectives are met, thus playing a crucial part in upholding the reputation of the brand. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach to problem-solving will be integral to delivering products that surpass customer expectations.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols and systematic inspection workflows.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and mitigate quality issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Analyze defect and downtime data to implement effective corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed quality control reports and documentation for management review.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate and review corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes to prevent recurrence.
  • Foster a quality-focused culture within the company through training and communication.
  • Ensure products are tested and verified to meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and oversee quality control operations.
  • Advise on quality issues and work with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Attend and contribute to quality-related meetings and propose suggestions for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or quality assurance.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a similar technical quality control role.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, tools, and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues swiftly.
  • Proficient with quality control software and data analysis tools for reporting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with various departments.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in products.
