Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Officer is a fundamental part of any organization's HR team, responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company’s dynamic workforce needs. This role requires a strategic mindset to develop and implement effective recruitment plans and practices. The Talent Acquisition Officer will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand job specifications and the required candidate profiles. The role demands proficiency in using recruitment tools and platforms, and the ability to build relationships with potential candidates and key industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet recruitment targets within specified timelines. This role is crucial in shaping the function and success of the organization by ensuring that the right talent is recruited, aligning with the company’s goals and culture.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand and fulfill hiring needs efficiently.
  • Utilize various recruiting tools and platforms to source potential candidates.
  • Organize and conduct interviews to assess candidate suitability and qualifications.
  • Build and maintain a network of industry contacts for future talent pipeline needs.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timed and professional communication.
  • Collaborate with HR to align recruiting practices with company policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and refine talent acquisition strategies to improve recruitment efficiency.
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards and platforms.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics to improve hiring processes over time.
  • Stay updated with new trends and innovations in talent acquisition techniques.
  • Manage and update applicant tracking systems and candidate databases regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or similar recruitment roles, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities accordingly.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment software.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across various teams.
