Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated test cases and evaluate software bugs.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs using advanced tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing after software updates have been implemented.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
• Monitor debugging process results and ensure timely resolution of bugs.
• Use test scripts and perform code reviews for quality assurance standards.
• Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements and coordinate testing activities.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements and enhancements.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in software testing methodologies.
• Prepare test reports and communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing or quality assurance roles is essential.
• Strong understanding of software development and quality assurance processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management software like JIRA or Selenium.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
