Software Tester (225-816)

We are seeking a meticulous Software Tester to join our dynamic development team. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand new software features.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure functionality is aligned with specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using a defect tracking system.
• Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and new feature implementations.
• Conduct performance testing to assess software speed, scalability, and stability.
• Design automated tests to validate software functionality against user needs.
• Provide detailed reports on software quality and recommend improvements based on findings.
• Liaise with teams to ensure prompt resolution of issues and continuous improvement.
• Participate in software release processes and coordinate with team members for smooth deliveries.
• Update and maintain comprehensive testing documentation to keep content current.
• Research and apply new testing technologies to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and guide junior testers to build and enhance their testing skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with a variety of testing tools, such as Selenium or JIRA, is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information effectively.
