Job Description

As a Senior Media Planner, you will be at the forefront of our advertising strategies, guiding clients in understanding and implementing advertising campaigns that effectively reach their desired audience. Your expertise in media trends, consumer behavior, and advertising platforms will be critical in developing and executing media plans that align with client goals and objectives. You will collaborate closely with creative teams, account executives, and clients to ensure all media plans are delivered on time and within budget. We value a strategic thinker who can analyze campaign performance and suggest data-driven improvements. This role requires someone who is highly detail-oriented, communicative, and passionate about staying ahead in the dynamic media landscape.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive media plans aligning with client objectives and budgets.
  • Analyze market data to determine consumer trends and media consumption behaviors.
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to brainstorm innovative media solutions.
  • Negotiate and manage media buy contracts with vendors and partners.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, proposing optimizations.
  • Stay updated on emerging media technologies and platforms to advise clients.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and clients.
  • Create detailed media schedules and budgets for client presentations.
  • Advise clients on the strategic allocation of media spend across platforms.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign alignment and delivery.
  • Lead post-campaign analysis to assess return on investment and learnings.
  • Oversee the work of junior planners and provide mentorship and guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in media planning or a related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of media planning and buying tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience dealing with media vendors.
  • Proficient communication skills with the ability to present to clients clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in both traditional and digital media environments is essential.
