Senior HSE Manager (225-707)

As a Senior HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and the environment within our organization. Your primary focus will be on developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs and policies. You will work closely with all levels of management and staff to promote a safe workplace culture. Your role entails conducting regular safety audits, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for developing initiatives to enhance workplace safety, managing accident investigations, and providing guidance on HSE matters. Your leadership and expertise will be pivotal in driving the organization towards sustainable and safe operational practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies and programs company-wide.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
• Collaborate with management to create safety plans that address potential weaknesses.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
• Provide training and support to staff on HSE practices and procedures.
• Develop strategies to reduce workplace injuries and improve safety culture.
• Manage emergency planning and response teams for crisis situations.
• Oversee the collection and analysis of HSE performance data and reports.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on HSE performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in health and safety performance.
• Ensure that all equipment and processes comply with safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an HSE management role, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices within industry standards.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to influence safety culture positively.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to assess workplace risks effectively.
• Proven experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
