We are seeking a Recruitment Team Manager (Flight Operations) to lead the recruitment team and deliver innovative hiring strategies across pilots and cadet programmes.
Role Purpose
In this leadership role, you will manage the recruitment team responsible for sourcing, assessment and selection within Flight Operations. Working closely with senior stakeholders across HR and Flight Ops, you will design and deliver creative strategies to ensure high growth targets are achieved efficiently while enhancing candidate experience.
Accountabilities
Develop and deliver recruitment strategies across Flight Operations roles, with a focus on pilots and cadets
Lead and coach a team of TA professionals to achieve high performance
Partner with senior leaders to align hiring with operational growth needs
Oversee attraction, sourcing and assessment processes, ensuring best practice and compliance
Drive employer branding initiatives for Flight Operations in collaboration with Employer Branding Manager
Leverage data, metrics, and AI solutions to optimise processes
Continuously improve candidate experience and operational efficiency
Act as a trusted advisor to senior Flight Operations stakeholders on recruitment strategy
Education & Experience
At least 7 years of relevant experience within recruitment, preferably in a major airline
Knowledge and understanding of the aviation industry best practice in recruitment
Knowledge, understanding and experience of sourcing and attraction strategies and the assessment of pilots
Proven ability to lead and motivate small teams to deliver results in complex and dynamic circumstances
Strategic thinker with the ability to think creatively to solve complex problems to deliver the right results
Proficiency in recruitment technologies with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive decision-making
Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
