Job Description

As a Project Coordinator in the civil engineering sector, you will play a crucial role in supporting project managers and ensuring timely, efficient, and safe implementation of civil engineering projects. Your expertise will guide the coordination of various phases of construction and infrastructure projects, managing communications, and handling project documentation. This role requires you to multitask effectively while liaising with clients, stakeholders, and on-ground team members. You will ensure all resources are effectively utilized and track project progress to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, alongside solid knowledge of construction methodologies and practices.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day construction activities to ensure project delivery on time.
  • Maintain and organize all project-related documentation efficiently and systematically.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders for smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and submit detailed project reports to senior management regularly.
  • Assist in the scheduling of meetings and project activities as needed.
  • Oversee the procurement and allocation of project materials and resources.
  • Track and report project progress using appropriate project management tools.
  • Address any project-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and project-specific guidelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to meet project targets.
  • Facilitate seamless project workflow through effective time and resource management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Project Coordinator in civil projects.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project management.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for tracking progress.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address project challenges.
