Role Purpose:

The Principal Engineer - Full System Simulation plays a pivotal role in the development and validation of Full System Simulation infrastructure and software, contributing to the accurate representation of target, threat, and electronic warfare (EW) models.

This role involves leading technical initiatives, providing mentorship to engineers, and driving innovation in the field of full system simulation for missile systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and team to develop and enhance the Full System Simulation infrastructure and software components.
  • Apply advanced coding techniques, testing methodologies, and documentation practices.
  • Leverage expertise in Python, C++, Matlab, and OKTAL-SE Synthetic Environment to develop advanced models for targets, threats, and electronic warfare scenarios.
  • Support the integration of 6DOF, Seeker, Target, Threat, EW, and OKTAL SE models into the SimCore environment, ensuring seamless functionality and accuracy.
  • Work with the Chief Engineer in overseeing the validation process, ensuring alignment with actual flight test data and meeting performance criteria.
  • Apply advanced simulation techniques to support the validation of missile system designs and performance assessment under varying conditions.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the SimCore team, assisting in project execution and problem resolution.
  • Drive advanced research projects to explore emerging technologies and methodologies in full system simulation, contributing to the organization's technical advancement and competitive edge.
  • Act as a go-to technical expert in Full System Simulation technologies, providing guidance and insights to resolve complex technical challenges and support decision-making processes. Share expertise with the wider engineering team.

Main Requirements:

  • Minimum: Minimum of 10 years of experience in full system simulation for missile systems.
  • Preferred: 12+ years of experience in Full system simulation in a missile production company. Previous experience in a technical leadership role within a similar function in the defense industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of defense and aerospace industries is a plus.
