Synopsis
The job is existing in order to manage all transportation activities so as to ensure smooth Etihad operations in terms of “Cabin Crew Transport” operations. In addition, the job holder prepares schedules for Bus Drivers, Transport Coordinators as appropriate. Assist the Senior Manager / Head by monitoring expenditures, maintain work records, time sheets, job reports, plan work operations and adjustment of work assignments. Training of employees on the job and conduct performance reviews.
Accountabilities
To manage the day-to-day transport operations in terms of EY Cabin Crew Transport arrangements to & from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Ensure effective rosters and vehicle assignments are implemented to meet operational requirements, understand problems that may arise and provide prompt solutions. Service flexibility to cope with changing needs due to unplanned or special requests, flight disruptions, sick leaves, etc.
Communicate & liaise with the stakeholders related to Crew Transport operations such as SDOs, Crew Controllers and NOC management to ensure implementation of updates in daily, weekly flights operations.
To recruit, train and manage a team of professionals to support Crew Transport, assessing capabilities during recruitment, identifying ongoing training needs, monitoring performance to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of Crew Transport services.
To provide management with regular reports as well as analytical reports and transport reviews & surveys to support service enhancements, new projects and proposals.
Assist the Senior Manager / Head by monitoring expenditures, maintain work records, time sheets, job reports, planning work operations and adjustment of work assignments.
Preparation of Annual budget for transport operations and monitor expenditures throughout the year to ensure costs control within the approved budget.
Education & Experience
Minimum Diploma Holder
Minimum 7 years’ experience of working within a transport or logistical client-focused industry, at least 4 to 5 years within an airline transport department on a supervisory role
Experience of self-managing work load and managing a team of diverse individuals
