As a Junior Biomedical Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovative healthcare technology, supporting the development and maintenance of vital medical equipment. Responsibilities:

  • Support senior engineers in the design and development of new biomedical devices.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of biomedical equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide effective technical support and training.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all biomedical equipment activities.
  • Assist in the compliance review of medical devices with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Participate in research and development projects to innovate medical device technology.
  • Provide technical advice and support in the procurement of biomedical equipment.
  • Ensure familiarity with current technological advancements in the biomedical engineering field.
  • Execute prototyping and testing of devices in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Contribute to quality assurance and control processes for biomedical products.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations and technical standards is required.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and engineering software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Previous internship or similar experience in a biomedical or related field preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to different healthcare sites as needed.
