Job Description

As an IT Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our company within the technology sector. Your primary objective will be to identify new business opportunities, establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and work closely with internal teams to develop strategic solutions that meet client needs. With a strong understanding of the IT landscape, market trends, and competitive dynamics, you will utilize your sales acumen and technical expertise to develop compelling value propositions and negotiate successful deals. Your proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and ability to navigate complex decision-making processes will be critical in expanding our market presence and achieving ambitious business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the IT sector, including emerging markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop tailored IT solutions that meet client needs.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business and renew existing contracts.
  • Work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets and business growth objectives.
  • Participate in networking events and industry conferences to raise company profile.
  • Manage and update customer relationship management (CRM) software with accurate information.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies and campaigns that support sales initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in IT technology to identify new business avenues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT industry trends and technology solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations promptly.
