The role of an Insurance Claims Coordinator requires someone with a meticulous eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the comprehensive processing of insurance claims from start to finish.

  • Analyze claim data to generate accurate and timely reports for management.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of each insurance claim processed.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations in claims handling.
  • Use claims management software proficiently to track and monitor claims status.
  • Support the claims team by providing training and guidance when necessary.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance claims processing efficiency.
  • Investigate discrepancies in claims data and coordinate resolution efforts effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with insurance adjusters to expedite the claims settlement process.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in claims processing or coordination roles.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in using claims management software and related applications essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, required daily.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple claims and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in handling paperwork.
