Job Description

The Income Audit & Cost Controller is a crucial role within the finance department, responsible for verifying daily revenues, auditing daily deposits, and ensuring accurate cost control measures are in place. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles to ensure financial integrity and efficiency. As an Income Audit & Cost Controller, you will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure data accuracy and cost-effectiveness. You will play a vital role in tracking expenses, reconciling accounts, and assisting in financial reporting. Your ability to work autonomously, while also being a team player, will ensure that the organization meets its financial goals efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily audits to verify revenue and ensure financial integrity.
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas of cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of income and expenses regularly.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to gather all necessary financial data.
  • Maintain and update financial data in accounting software and databases.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards during audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
  • Review and authorize purchase orders to ensure accuracy and legitimacy.
  • Develop and implement cost control strategies to enhance financial performance.
  • Monitor budget versus actual expenditure and report variances promptly.
  • Ensure all financial transactions adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • At least three years of experience in financial auditing or cost control.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial matters.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve financial discrepancies and inefficiencies.
