What would you do? Title: Sales Operations Service Process Liaison (SPL) Support - Avanade Role (Job Profile): Sales Operations Associate Manager Career Level: Associate Manager (L8) This is a Service Process Liaison (SPL) Support (L8 Associate Manager) role within the Sales Excellence Sales Operations team. SPLs focus on process: - understanding the end-to-end Sales Excellence process, specializing in Sales Operations activities and their interaction with other teams, - working with the Center of Excellence Leads, Global Process Delivery Owner (GPDO), and Sales Operations delivery leads to define and document Sales Operations activities (e.g., creating and refining Statements of Work and process handbooks), - developing and delivering training to ensure Sales Operations team members are trained and deliver according to defined standards and processes, and - performing regular audits to isolate and escalate any operational concerns as appropriate. The initial assignment for this role will focus on Avanade support, with two primary concentrations: - first, supporting the lead Avanade Sales Ops SPL with the overall Avanade process and how it interacts with the Accentue process; - second, taking point on resale processes – both how the Accenture and Avanade resale processes need to integrate, as well as managing Avanade’s resale revenue credit process which includes tracking/reporting data and raising/resolving issues across a variety of stakeholders like Avanade leadership, regional teams, controllership, and Accenture AU Finance. The position reports to Sales Operations leadership; for the initial assignment, that will be the lead SPL for Avanade support. Other leaders, including Sales Excellence corporate function leads and potentially business leadership, may also provide direction.
What are we looking for? Educational Qualification Must have: Undergraduate degree English language fluency (oral and written) Good to have: Green Belt Certification Business Management education desirable Skills & Work Experience Must have: A minimum of 4 - 5 years of sales ops / sales management experience with proven track record in team management Good to have: - Understanding of sales operations processes and tools (e.g., Client 365) preferred - Experience in training delivery - Familiarity with process re-engineering/transformation and related tools such as VSM (Value Stream Mapping), process mapping on Visio, etc. - Familiarity with revenue operations, preferably with a focus on revenue credit, and/or reviewing and processing compensation and incentive payments Other requirements (please specify such as overtime, etc.) Must support/mirror working hours for the supported Market Unit / business area Must be flexible with work hours according to business needs (e.g., when interaction/conference calls with team members in other time zones is required, at mid-month and month-end peak activity periods, when a critical issue requires immediate resolution, or when covering for a colleague in another area) Must have good internet connectivity and distraction-free environment for working at home, in accordance with local guidelines May be occasionally required to travel domestically or internationally Additional Comments - Nothing in this job description restricts management s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.
