Job Description

The Human Resources Officer plays a crucial role in the organization's HR department, ensuring that all HR policies, procedures, and practices are effectively implemented and adhered to. This position involves dealing with a variety of personnel activities related to recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations. As an HR Officer, you will work closely with other departments to align HR strategies with overall business goals, providing support and advice to both managers and employees. You will need to be an excellent communicator, adept at working in a team environment, and possess strong organizational skills. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to improving the work environment and employee satisfaction.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business strategy.
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Manage employee relations cases, providing advice and support to resolve issues.
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct training sessions and programs to enhance employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and legal requirements in all HR activities.
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including developing KPIs and appraisals.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of employee information and HR documents.
  • Provide guidance on HR-related queries and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Monitor and report on workforce and HR metrics to aid decision-making.
  • Foster a positive working environment and champion organizational values.
  • Handle any HR issues such as grievances, disciplinary procedures, or disputes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Generalist, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures is required.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality and act with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems for efficient HR operations.
  • Solid problem-solving and decisiveness skills to address complex HR matters.
