Role Overview:

The Head of Finance & Procurement will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for the financial health of the company and building a robust procurement framework. This role will lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, procurement operations, supplier management, and ensure strong internal controls while supporting AI71s scaling and profitability objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

Finance Leadership:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the companys objectives and growth plans.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Monitor financial performance, cash flow, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage audit processes, tax compliance, risk management, and financial governance.
• Present financial reports to the executive team and board members, offering recommendations for optimization.
  
  

• Design and oversee procurement policies, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and supplier diversity.
• Lead contract negotiations, vendor selection, and supplier relationship management.
• Drive procurement planning aligned with project and operational needs.
• Ensure procurement activities are aligned with the companys sustainability and ethical sourcing goals.
• Implement procurement automation and process improvements.
  
  

• Build and manage high-performing finance and procurement teams.
• Partner with other departments (Technology, Operations, HR, Legal) to support cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to the companys long-term strategy as a key business partner to the CEO and leadership team.
  
  
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and procurement leadership roles, ideally within technology, AI, or fast-growing companies.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and procurement best practices.
• Knowledgeable about UAE financial regulations and procurement standards.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and proven track record of managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
• Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth environment is highly desirable.
