Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee and manage our company's facilities operations. As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our physical workspace meets the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and functionality. You will oversee maintenance, handle service contracts, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. In this role, your goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all company sites, delivering a conducive environment for our employees and guests. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all company facilities, ensuring efficiency and safety.
  • Plan and coordinate all installations, refurbishments, and maintenance services to meet company standards.
  • Negotiate and manage maintenance and service contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure all facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health, and security standards.
  • Monitor and manage building systems including HVAC, security, and fire protections systems.
  • Implement workplace safety procedures and ensure all employees adhere to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report on maintenance activities and needs.
  • Manage the facilities budget, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain emergency plans including evacuation procedures and disaster recovery plans.
  • Supervise the facilities management team, providing leadership and development opportunities.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support company needs for workplace improvements.
  • Prepare reports on facilities operations and maintenance performance for upper management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in facilities management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities management operations, building systems, and maintenance practices.
  • Proven experience with budgeting and financial forecasting in a facilities context.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, adept at managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and systems for effective tracking and reporting.
