Driver (225-820)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team to transport goods and people efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for driving a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, across specified routes in a timely manner. A successful candidate must be punctual, possess excellent driving skills, and ensure the safety of passengers and cargo. Your duties will include interacting with clients and colleagues, maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of your assigned vehicle, and adhering to all driving regulations and company policies. Responsibilities

• Transport goods and passengers safely to their destinations following assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and operational standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles to ensure a pleasant experience for passengers.
• Document travel details, including mileage, fuel costs, and any incidents during trips.
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading their personal belongings when needed.
• Comply with all traffic rules and regulations to avoid accidents and penalties.
• Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs to the maintenance department immediately.
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times.
• Plan optimal routes for efficiency and to minimize travel time and expenses.
• Keep an accurate log of driving activities, including hours and rest breaks.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to get up-to-date information on route changes.
• Ensure vehicle licenses, permits, and inspections are current and valid.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated.
• Proven experience as a driver in a similar role, with excellent references.
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and basic vehicle maintenance practices.
• Ability to use GPS devices and follow map directions accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients.
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Must have a clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
