Design/Construction Coordination Manager

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design/Construction Coordination Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of design and construction processes on a project. Their responsibilities typically involve managing communication, schedules, and deliverables between design teams, construction teams, and other stakeholders.

What Youll Be Doing

• Act as the primary liaison between design teams (Consultant) and construction teams (Engineer, PMC).
• Ensure alignment between design intent and construction execution.
• Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to resolve design and construction conflicts.
• Ensure that construction activities adhere to the approved design and specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify that work is being executed as per the design intent.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities to ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws and safety regulations.
• Identify potential risks related to design and construction coordination and develop mitigation strategies.
• Address unforeseen issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Facilitate regular meetings between design and construction teams to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders, including status reports, risk assessments and key decisions.
  
  
  

What Required Skills Youll Bring

• Bachelors Degree in any Engineering program preferably Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years of related work experience in Infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Design and Construction processes.
• Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the desired quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Must have experience within Abu Dhabi market and able to attend in-person interviews.
