Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating psychological disorders, helping patients navigate their emotional lives, and promoting mental wellness. You will work with diverse populations and provide therapy and interventions that are tailored to the specific needs of each individual. Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments, including interviews and observations, to diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Design and implement treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques for individuals and groups.
  • Provide psychotherapy to patients, utilizing various modalities such as CBT, DBT, or psychodynamic therapy.
  • Create a safe and supportive environment for patients to discuss their mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Document patient information, session notes, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and therapeutic strategies.
  • Engage in continuing education to stay current with the latest developments in psychology and therapy.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and case management activities as needed.
  • Advocate for patients' needs within the healthcare system and assist with access to community resources.
  • Contribute to research and evaluation initiatives to improve clinical practices and patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist .
  • Minimum of three years of post-graduate experience in a clinical setting.
  • Proven expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse patients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for patient interaction and documentation.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional standards and confidentiality.
