Job Description

As a Presales Manager, you will wield significant influence in shaping the customer engagement experience during the sales cycle. Your expertise in providing strategic and technical insights will be instrumental in addressing customer needs and enhancing business value. You'll be at the crossroads of technical functionalities and market demands, crafting compelling propositions that spotlight the solutions offered by the company. Working closely with the sales team, you'll ensure that our products and services meet the bespoke requirements of clients and prospects. Your role involves not only understanding the dynamic technological landscapes but also the unique challenges faced by diverse business sectors. Your strategic input and customer focus will play a key role in driving sales growth and establishing strong client relationships.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the presales function, offering expert guidance and support to sales teams.
  • Conduct detailed needs analysis to align client requirements with solutions offered.
  • Create and present compelling product presentations and demonstrations to clients.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to devise strategies that meet sales targets effectively.
  • Act as a technical expert, addressing complex queries and issues raised by customers.
  • Oversee and contribute to the preparation of high-quality proposals and RFPs.
  • Establish strong relationships with potential and existing clients to foster trust.
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry trends to inform presales strategies.
  • Work closely with product management teams to communicate market needs.
  • Facilitate training sessions to enhance the skills of sales and presales teams.
  • Support marketing teams with insights for successful product positioning.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights to improve market positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant technical field required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a presales or technical sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Competency in relevant software applications, such as CRM and proposal tools.
