Job Description

As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales team by supporting the Sales Manager and ensuring our sales targets are met. You will be responsible for overseeing and elevating the performance of the sales team, maintaining close communication with key clients, and assisting in the development of strategic sales plans. Your role will include cultivating strong client relationships, monitoring market dynamics, and implementing effective sales strategies. You will also be expected to inspire and motivate the sales team to reach their highest potential, while delivering exceptional customer service to maximize satisfaction and loyalty. This position requires a blend of leadership skills, sales expertise, and a keen understanding of market analytics, making it a critical position within our organization.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Supervise and guide the sales team to improve performance and achieve targets.
  • Analyze sales metrics to identify areas of improvement for sales processes.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute sales campaigns.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and report on sales performance to senior management.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to improve product marketing strategies.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and devise strategies to gain competitive advantage.
  • Support the Sales Manager in meeting revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and government regulations.
  • Facilitate training and development programs for sales team members as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service role.
  • Proven capability to lead and manage a sales team effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and networks.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
