We design, manufacture, assemble and integrate components for gravity-release guided systems, missiles and loitering munitions.
Accountabilities:
The Industrialization and Production Engineers develop and implement efficient production processes for New Product industrialization and Continuous Improvement. This role is pivotal in ensuring that product designs are optimized for production and meet all technical and commercial requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the industrialization of new products, working with the design and manufacturing teams to achieve smooth transition from prototype to serial production.
Work on the industrialization of new products, working closely with design and production teams to achieve productive and efficient production and assembly processes.
Work on optimizing product designs to minimize complexity and maximize efficiency of production and assembly.
Identify production needs for new products in development.
Ensure all product and system requirements are considered from the initial product conception to the finished result.
Generating production documentation such as assembly work instructions.
Improve production efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space requirements, equipment layout shop floor layout and cell designs.
Define a detailed process flow, including determining production processes, work instructions, resources, bottlenecks, risks, and capacity calculation.
Design fixtures and tooling for assembly tasks.
Participate in prototype builds and pilot runs, identifying issues and optimizing processes before full-scale production.
Define and implement robust and efficient assembly processes.
Implementing problem solving and continuous improvement.
Adhering to related standards and preparing required documentations associated with the above responsibilities, insuring on-time delivery and working according to the internal standards and procedures.
Main Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in Industrial or Production Engineering in the defence, aerospace, automotive or energy sector.
Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
